Stop messages from businesses
Businesses use Connect to send text, WhatsApp, email and other messages. Your choices about those messages, and your details, are for the business that messaged you — here is how to tell it.
On WhatsApp or RCS
Reply STOP to the business. Its messages stop straight away. Reply START if you want them again.
By email
Use the unsubscribe link in the email. That business stops sending you those emails.
By text message
Use the way to stop that the message gives you, or ask the business. You can also register your preferences with your mobile operator by calling or texting 1909.
To have your details deleted
Ask the business that holds them. It decides what happens to its customers’ details: it deletes them, or keeps only what the law requires it to. Once you have asked to stop, it sends you nothing more.
What still reaches you
A code you ask for, and an answer to a message you send, are not stopped — you asked for them.
A question about Connect itself
Write to VIJAYKUMAR MADOORI, our Grievance Officer, at connect.privacy@ingeniouspro.co.in. Requests about your details go to the business that holds them.
